Banana Dogs

Breakfast is sometimes hard, you want something easy, quick, and healthy. These have been a favorite around here for awhile. What do your kids like for breakfast?

Banana Dogs:
Ingredients:
Hot Dog Bun
Banana
Peanut Butter
Wheat Germ or sunflower seeds (optional)
Strawberry Jam

Directions:
Spread hot dog bun with PButter and sprinkle wheat germ on top. Top with a banana and jam "ketchup". Yum!

Oh my goodness, what a clever idea! This would be great for a fast breakfast. We alternate between french toast, eggs and pancakes (and cold cereal once a week when I am too lazy for a hot breakfast - my kids love cold cereal mornings!).

That's a great idea! My kids love when I make breakfast cookies. The Sneaky Chef cookbook has a great recipe. They're high in protein and low in sugar. The only problem is they go so fast -- even if I make a double batch. They rarely last more than a few days!

got the bows yesterday and they were so cute and my girls love them. Cinderella is my oldest favorite. Where can I get that bottle cap thing with sleeping beauty? My youngest now wants bows of her favorite princess.

Those banana dogs are pretty adorable. I havent seen that before, and it was really charming. I've no kiddos yet, but I'm tucking the idea away for the future. And it might not even be a bad way to get the darling husband eating fruit in the morning.
