Great giveaway. Here's a link to Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole. My mom always makes this with Swanson chicken. I sometimes use Swanson and sometimes chicken breast. http://eatathomecooks.com/2009/04/chicken-and-cheesy-rice-casserole.html
I like to use canned chicken in my gravy/sauce for Hawaiian Haystacks. That is a great giveaway!

This is an appropriate recipe for a Campbell's giveaway. Take one can of Swanson chicken, one can of mushroom soup, about a quarter cup of milk, and whatever herbs your heart desires. I like fresh dill and fresh chives myself. Heat until almost boiling, and serve over fresh, hot pasta. Top with parmesan cheese and it's a quick and delicious supper that can't be beat!
I found this Chicken Pesto Spinach Salad online...
Chicken Pesto Salad by
Linda Larsen
I am going to try it!
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
•16 oz. box farfalle pasta
•10 oz. container refrigerated pesto
•2 cups frozen cut leaf spinach, thawed and drained
•2 Tbsp. lemon juice
•1 cup mayonnaise
•1 cup plain yogurt
•1/4 cup milk
•16 oz. pkg. frozen baby peas
•1 (12 oz.) can white and dark meat chicken, drained
•1 red bell pepper, chopped
•1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
•1 pint grape tomatoes
•1 cup cashew halves
Preparation:
Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.
Meanwhile, in food processor, combine pesto, thawed spinach and lemon juice. Process until blended.
In large bowl, combine pesto mixture, mayonnaise, plain yogurt and milk and whisk until combined. Stir in chicken, bell peppers, and grape tomatoes. Pour peas on top. Add hot cooked drained pasta and cashews and stir to combine (the hot pasta will thaw the peas). Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving, stirring once. Serves 8-10

I always have canned chicken on hand. I remember thinking it looked yucky, so I never used to buy it. Once someone tricked me into a recipe and I was hooked.
We use it almost weekly just for chicken quesadilla's alone! Make sure you use the uncooked tortillas, though. They are the best!

I add canned chicken to my Kraft Macaroni and Cheese kits.
I add Swansons Chicken in with a sloppy joe mix instead of hamburger meat sometimes. It's so delicious and more so a money saver if youre looking for something cheap, quick and easy to make!
This is a simple one... but I just love Chicken Salad sandwiches. I always use the canned chicken to make it and the only things I add are red grapes, crisp apples, and mayo. So good. This giveaway is awesome. I have wanted a picnic basket for forever.

Oooh, I LOVE this giveaway. My hubby and I definately would use this! I am doing a post this week about picnicking, so I'll be linking this giveaway on my blog as well. I love to use swanson chicken in my hawaiaan haystacks as well as in quesadillas. Here's the recipe link: http://www.campbellskitchen.com/SpecialtySiteRecipeDetail.aspx?recipeSource=MealIdeas&recipeID=23619&rc=577&page=1&index=5&Lastindex=false&specialty=swansonchunkchicken
I love this!
We used Swanson's to do everything- I mean everything. But my favorite is beef and wild rice casserole. Add one cup broth, 2 Cups cooked wild rice, 1 lb browned ground beef, some onions and some mushrooms. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 and enjoy some deliciousness!
(however- I have just learned how easy broth is to make- so I have not been buying as much . . .)
My favorite recipe for Swanson's Chicken is just a can of Swanson's Chicken, Miracle Whip, pickle relish, all served with crackers and squares of cheese. Great snack or lunch with fruit.
I use the canned chicken in quick soup. I take chicken broth (in a box), and the chiken heat in a pan. I boil some egg noodles, I saute 1/2 c. carrots, celery, and onion in olive oil. I put it all together add salt, pepper and herbs de provience to taste! enjoy
Would love a new picnic basket! My two year old and I love to take picnics to the park. She'd love helping to pack a basket!

Gourmet Chicken Salad
* 2 (10 ounce) cans Swanson Canned Chicken
* 1 cup seedless green grapes, halved
* 1/2 cup sliced almonds
* 1/2 cup chopped celery
* 1 (8 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
* 3/4 cup creamy cucumber salad dressing

janetfaye (at) gmail (dot) com
I use it mostly to make a mean chicken salad. It very simple, with just a can of chicken and add the following ingredientsw to taste:
diced onion
mayo
cranberries
walnuts
dash of powdered ranch dressing
salt
pepper
I like making stuffed tomatoes. You prepare a chicken salad with mayo, a little dijon mustard, diced celery, sliced almonds and little lemon jiuce. Mix it all together and then stuff a tomato. You can also make these warm. Add a little cheese on top and pop them in the oven, yummy.
Take 10 oz canned chicken, 4 oz softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup salsa. Stir together and serve with crackers... Salsa Chicken Cheese Dip. (If there's only three ingredients, which do you decide to leave out of the title!)
I know this sounds simple, but it's SO rich and good.
I make a nice chicken salad: I put one can of chicken, drained and flaked with 6-8 diced radishes; 1/2 bunch green onions, sliced with part of the dark green included; 2 stalks of celery, diced; several tablespoons of mayonnaise (I eyeball it after mixing it in until it's the consistency I like); and salt and pepper to taste. I sometimes add a little sweet pickle relish- drained. I served it in tiny cream puff shells at a baby shower recently- it was a hit.
heres a great chicken pasta salad recipe that i use all the time

Confession time. Although I use Swanson's canned chicken in many ways when cooking, my favorite, the one that gave me the most pleasure, is when I opened a can for my cats. Yes, my cats. They liked tuna but too much tuna was not good for them. So, when I first started using Swanson's canned chicken for myself I would hear peeps behind me. Aha, the furballs discovered canned chicken. From there on, Swanson's canned chicken became one of their delicacies.
I googled:

2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

2 teaspoons Jamaican jerk seasoning or Mediterranean or Greek seasoning or 1 teaspoon Thai seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
Bibb lettuce
2 cups mesclun salad greens, cut into bite-size pieces
Pea shoots or watercress (optional)

I used canned chicken and canned chicken broth along with Bisquik for fast and easy chicken and dumplings.
I love to add canned chicken to my macaroni salad that has elbow macaroni, mayo (Helman's, of course), sliced black olives, hard boiled eggs, s&p to taste. So simple, yet so good, even the dog likes it!!
I love to take swanson chicken drain it and mix it with ranch dressing- eat it on crackers- yum
I like to top a garden salad with drained Swanson chicken and shredded cheese.

Wow! I made chicken salad just yesterday using Swanson chicken! How cool is that!! Besides chicken salad, I also use it to make lots of dishes, including Poppy Seed Chicken and RoTel Chicken.
