The Sugar Fairy is one cool Aussie, I love her blog, Enchanted Kitchen.
The other day, I saw her adorable Sweet Teacups and knew I needed to make some! I made a few changes...we don't have freckles candies available in the US but I liked the look of substituting icing with sprinkles. I also added a little cookie saucer, perfect for little fingers!
These are super-easy for the kids to put together and make for one fancy tea party, "T" snack, or playdate treat! Enjoy!
Teacup Treats
Ingredients:
Large marshmallows (we used the pink strawberry flavored ones!)
Ingredients:
Large marshmallows (we used the pink strawberry flavored ones!)
Life Savers candies
Chocolate icing
Sprinkles
Vanilla wafer cookies (you can use vanilla oreos or I found some generic scalloped sugar cookies for $1 at the grocery store)
Chocolate icing
Sprinkles
Vanilla wafer cookies (you can use vanilla oreos or I found some generic scalloped sugar cookies for $1 at the grocery store)

Directions:
Place a cookie on your plate as your "saucer".
Spread chocolate icing on the top of a marshmallow and garnish with sprinkles of your choice. Add a dab of icing to the bottom and place it on the cookie saucer.
My girls like to call these "cocoa cups" since we don't drink tea. :) Either way, they disappered in a flash!

Simply enchanting. Love it.
OH. MY. When I had my daughter, I really really really looked forward to tea parties, and these are just a step UP! (SHe's only 9mo's so I got awhile!) Thanks so much for the idea!
Another adorable treat! These are so cute.
I have an award for you on my blog. Be sure to go by and pick it up!
Adorable! I really like your take on this one. I'll be linking.
And you're one cool American! (not sure if Yank is acceptable). I love your ideas - they're heaps of fun and I like fun:)
Your icing idea turned out great and your girls calling them cocoa cups instead of tea cups is really cute.
