I have a confession to make...I always keep Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix in my pantry!
I've made tons of sugar cookie recipes, but I always seem to go back to BC Sugar Cookie Mix because it makes quick cutouts and people always ask for the recipe! So, now you know my cookie secret! Shhhh.....
We recently made a ton of these sassy high-heeled cookies for an event. They were surprisingly easy! We outlined the cookies with royal icing, flooded them with thinned icing, then added swirls of thinned icing, edible pearls/beads, and a little of gold food coloring spray (when dry). We also made some Cacao Barry Chocolate shoes for everyone to take home. yum.

Those are adorable!!! I too am a huge fan of the BC sugar cookie mix. I had been using it for years and people rave about my sugar cookies :P I just don't have the heart to tell them it came out of a mix packet!
OHMIGOSH!!! I am an absolute shoe FREAK. I guess you used a cookie cutter? I've never seen a shoe one!
I use the cookie mix too for cutouts! People think I am a super star and I dont bother correcting them lol!

Ohhh I LOVE the shoes, they are fabulous! Weird that we would both post cookies with Royal Icing today, I did Thanksgiving :)
