Acorn Treats from Family Fun Magazine
Can you tell we're on an alphabet kick? I'm starting a new category of "Alphabet Snacks" for you moms looking for a preschool snack or just a fun way to teach your kids letters. Letter theme days are a great way to have fun with your kids in the kitchen. A lot of these snacks are also great ways to garnish a buffet plate. Hopefully within the next month or so, we'll have a snack for every letter of the alphabet! Feel free to post your ideas, too!!
Ingredients:
Plain or glazed doughnut holes
Chocolate frosting (or peanut butter)
Toffee bits (in the baking aisle by the chocolate chips)

Hi - You mentioned the alphabet theme - and I have letter Q whenever you get there - Queen of Hearts Tarts. I'm looking for a good easy recipe for this - because I'm making them for my preschool group this week. I'll try and get a picture and post on my blog. - As a simple way to do it - you can always just make biscuits and spread strawberry jam in a heart shape on them.
I love your blog - I found it via the Bloggy Giveaways and bookmarked it, and am so glad - you have the coolest ideas. And I'll be visiting often. Thanks
