"P" is for Penguin Snacks

"P" is for Penguin Snacks

Qtpies7 was nice enough to email me some pictures of her "penguin snack" idea and they were so cute, I thought they deserved their own post! For all you Veggie Tales fans, you can get details on their Christmas video. A great snack and a Veggie Tales fan....you go girl!:)

Here are her instructions:
Take two Jumbo black olives and a slice of raw carrot. Cut a V out the the carrot and use the V for a nose in one piece of Olive and slice down the other olive and fill with veggie dip. slip a toothpick through the two olives and into the carrot slice making a Penguin!!! Super cute!

LOL, Well, that is about it for my snack coolness, except maybe some pear and apple shaped cheese balls. But those are definately more for adults. Any kind of thicker cheese ball ingredients and shape by hand into an apple, then coat in paprika to make it red. garnish with a clove and bay leaf or mint leaf for the stem and leaf. Coat a pear in parmesean cheese.
That is the end of my talents, I'm afraid.

Glad you loved the penguins, they are so cute that people won't eat them, though. I've served them twice, and these pics are when my friend made them. We both had lots of left overs because people were afraid to eat them because they are so cute.
