School is in full swing--does anyone else feel like you don't have enough time in the day to make a great dinner? I have a quick & delicious (& Kid-Friendly!) meal that you can whip up in a snap or even freeze for a night when you need a quick dinner.
The best part? Everything gets mixed right in a Gallon Ziploc Brand Freezer Bag. Easy cleanup and the kids LOVE helping!
Cheesey Italian Chickenserves 4
Ingredients:
1 Gallon Ziploc Brand Freezer Bag
1 1/2 pounds chicken tenderloins (you can substitute any chicken meat)
1 cup Italian salad dressing
8 ounces cream cheese
1 can condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cup milk
1 medium orange bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups cooked pasta or rice (whatever you'd like to serve the chicken with)
1 cup chopped tomatoes (optional, for garnish)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Gather all your ingredients and place in a Gallon-sized Ziploc Brand Freezer Bag.
I think this would be SO FUN to do as a play date activity! While the moms make up a few batches of these for freezer meals, the kids can play! Plus, you'll have a dinner ready to bake when you go home!

Sounds great, and you are right, my kids would eat it! Thanks for creating!
Oooh LOVE this idea! Must hit up their website NOW!
This sounds delicious!
looks sooo yummmyy!!!!!
Mandy-
Can you put this straight from the freezer into a pan and bake?
Stephanie, you need to defrost it first. What I usually do is throw it in the fridge when I wake up in the morning, then it's ready to bake in the evening. If it's just a LITTLE frozen, it's ok, but it can't be baked straight from the fridge. Hope that helps & thanks for your comment!
Is there a way to print these recipes? Also is it ok to freeze things in plastic bags even though they are not BPA free?
Good question! You will be happy to hear that Ziploc Brand products are BPA-free!
So, yes, please freeze away and be confident that you're taking care of you and your famiy's health.
A "print" button is a great idea! I'll work on it. For now, just highlight the text you want, right click it and select "copy". Then, open MS Word or any other text editing software, right click on the screen the select "paste". You should be able to print it then (and also delete anything you don't want).
Great idea! With school back in and activities in full swing, I'm just putting quick and easy dinners on the table. This looks like one the kids will love!
This looks yummy and I love the fact that you can freeze it. I will be making it soon.
I made this dinner for a friend today. It was perfect since I could just whip it up this morning before heading out the door. It smelled delicious. She told me later today that she couldn't wait for dinner to try it and it was wonderful. Will def be making it for my family next week.
I love your label idea. May just have to do that for more stuff. :)
FYI, if you've got Microsoft Publisher, you could make up your recipes in Publisher then when you save them you can also publish them as a PDF file. If you posted that below the recipe on your blog, we could have printable copies. Just an idea.
YUM!!!!! I know I would love this.
