When the kids wake up this morning, the kitchen table will be upside down! We're going to sit cross-legged on the floor and eat cereal with purple milk on our upside-down table.:)
I also made a fake job chart with all sorts of silly "jobs" for them to do during the day.
For dinner, we're going to have "Backwards Night" with these two great recipes from Family Fun. The "dinner" is actually dessert and the "cupcakes" are meatloaf with potato frosting.
You can get the "Fools Dinner" here and the "Meatloaf Cupcakes" here.

Oh wow! Those are some really fun and silly ideas for April Fool's foods! Great ideas! We don't do anything to celebrate April Fool's (except our DS who's due date was April 1st, and decided to come on the 9th!).
I can't wait for the girls to wake up tomorrow! You are a bloggin' fool and I love all your recipe ideas and your hilarious videos of the kids- you truly are the funnest(word?) momma!
hope the peppers turned out well!
I wish we could have come and enjoyed your fun meal! You are so creative. I tried to think of something "april foolsy" to do and couldn't think of anything...you are so creative! I need your creativity to rub off on me!
what a fun idea!
I love theses ideas! I love to play jokes on my family. One year. we dressed up my son 6 months old in little girls clothes and took "her" to daddy. The look on his face was priceless!
Last year. i hid a raisin in the toothpaste so when the kiddos brushed their teeth it looked like a bug was on the toothbrush. I think the best on though, had to be putting a rubberband around the sink sprayer, so when they rinsed their breakfast dishes, they got sprayed with water!
Thanks for your awesome ideas, I can't wait!
